In a recent Instagram Story, Maike shared a personal story about conquering resistance around exercise and overcoming limiting beliefs. The journey from despising exercise to embracing it as a source of joy and strength sparked significant feedback from the community. Today, the podcast delves into practical strategies for committing to oneself and initiating transformative change.

Unveiling Personal Struggles

Maike's relationship with exercise goes way back to her childhood, where she developed a strong aversion to running. Even though she's a projector, she didn't let stereotypes about energy types hold her back. Living with an autoimmune disease made her wary of physical activity, especially after dealing with sleep problems following pregnancy.

As she thought about her family's health history, especially their struggles with dementia, Maike felt a growing need to build up her physical resilience. It wasn't just about looking good; she wanted to focus on her internal well-being and protect herself from genetic risks. But making these changes wasn't easy. She faced a lot of internal resistance and had to shift her mindset to move forward.

The process of embracing change and committing to personal growth can often be as daunting as it is transformative.Maike’s journey vividly illustrates the deep-rooted resistance and fear that accompany such endeavors. She recounts moments where confronting her fears felt akin to facing death itself, highlighting the visceral physical sensations that accompany such internal struggles.

However, amidst these challenges, she emphasizes the power of transmuting limiting beliefs and patterns into actionable steps for personal growth.
